Sandhu Law Collective (SLC) is a boutique litigation and advisory firm founded in 2014 to provide prosecution, advisory, litigation and enforcement services across diverse areas of law. Based in the Chandigarh Capital Region, the firm’s core practice centres around the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, while also appearing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, Tribunals, District Courts and statutory authorities.

Although relatively young in years, the firm has steadily built a reputation for competence, courtroom discipline and strategic depth. Avtar Singh Sandhu

Former Director of Prosecution & Litigation, Government of Punjab

Former Additional Advocate General, Punjab

Mr. Avtar Singh Sandhu served as Director of Prosecution & Litigation and Legal Advisor to the Government of Punjab from 2008 until his retirement in 2017, and thereafter as Additional Advocate General, Punjab before the Punjab & Haryana High Court.

He brings to SLC decades of experience in state prosecutions, governmental advisory work and institutional litigation, which guides the firm’s approach to complex criminal and public law matters.

Mr. H.P.S. Sandhu practises across civil, service and regulatory matters, with a primary focus on criminal law. His matters have resulted in important decisions before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court.

He has also appeared before the Patna, Karnataka and Bombay High Courts and various District Courts in Punjab and Haryana, with extensive work under the IPC, Drugs and Cosmetics Act and POCSO Act, grounded in careful preparation and disciplined advocacy.

Ms. Avin Kaur Sandhu has over 15 years of experience. She began her career at Dua Associates, New Delhi, in international trade and export laws before moving to a litigation practice at Chandigarh.

Her practice covers constitutional and service law, land and property disputes, matrimonial litigation and ADR. She is Standing Counsel and Legal Retainer for GMADA and also represents Swiss nationals before the courts at Chandigarh in coordination with the Lawyer of Confidence, Embassy of Switzerland in India.
